Producing coconut oil is quite an interesting process. The origin of the coconuts, their age and the way the oil is extracted all make an impact on the taste, goodness and quality of the coconut oil.
Firstly I like to say to people stay away from anything that is refined. When coconut oil is refined its natural state has been tampered with. Often deodorizers, bleach and chemicals have been used in the process.
A good quality Virgin Coconut Oil is cold pressed and organic. This ensures maximum nutrition and benefits. It also contributes to our planets sustainability.

In the early days when Natives used coconut oil they would literally squeeze the coconut meat over a pan so the oil would drip onto it and be used for cooking. Similarly ladies would drip the oil over their heads for hair treatments. Nowadays we have technology, process and industry. This allows us in the West to also experience the delightful goodness, versatility and benefits of coconut oil.
Coconut Magic coconut oil is produced in Thailand and made from mature coconuts grown on certified organic plantations. We have developed a very unique and exclusive process that produces the oil with maximum nutrients and the highest quality in taste, purity and smell. This is essentially our point of difference and the reason for our distinct delicious, subtle flavour and aroma.
We press the fresh coconut meat to get the coconut milk. Then we use a centrifuge to remove the water content out. Lastly we use our exclusive process "express chilling phase" to extract the oil out from the concentrated coconut emulsion and to preserve the freshness of coconut. The oil is produced without any direct heat or chemicals. To be considered as virgin coconut oil, the oil has to be produced using the temperature not more than 60 C. Even though coconut oil has a very high heat resistance this process us allows us to promote the oil as cold pressed and RAW.
The oil is packaged and bottled into dark amber jars and then shipped to Australia in container drums. The amber glass helps protect the oil from sunlight and aligns with our contribution toward eco friendliness and sustainability.
